BITS Pilani Goa Launches Annual ‘QSTP’ Technical Mentorship Initiative, Introduces New Junior Modules for School Students

GOA: As part of its annual technical festival Quark, BITS Pilani K.K. Birla Goa Campus has officially launched the latest edition of the Quark Summer Technical Projects (QSTP). A cornerstone student-led initiative, QSTP offers intensive, hands-on learning experiences designed to bridge the gap between theoretical academic frameworks and real-world industrial applications.

This year’s iteration features a robust portfolio of over 20 completely free courses tailored for college students nationwide. The curriculum spans a diverse range of modern professional disciplines, including Product Management, Cybersecurity, Robotics, Mechanics, Programming, and Finance. The program has garnered immense traction, drawing over 4,000 registrations from students eager to upskill under the guidance of experienced campus mentors.

Expanding Horizons: Introducing QSTP Juniors

In a major expansion for this edition, QSTP has introduced specialized sub-modules structured specifically for school students. Titled “QSTP Juniors,” these mentor-guided tracks aim to introduce younger minds to technical fundamentals through practical engineering and computational projects. Priced at ₹599 per project, the modules focus on critical thinking, problem-solving, and foundational knowledge in technical fields.

The three flagship projects offered under the junior division focus on high-demand domains: Quant Finance, Martian Rover Engineering, and Computer Vision utilizing Python.
